The James Green Wildlife & Conservation
Initiative is managed by the Texas Wildlife
Association, which at no cost to schools or
teachers, sends trained educators to North Texas
classrooms. There, the TWA educators inform
students about Texas’ natural resources including
water cycles, conservation, responsible hunting,
land stewardship, and much more. Through
discovery trunks, field trips, and trained educators,
the award winning James Green Wildlife &
Conservation Initiative strives to introduce our
North Texas youth to our native wildlife and
landscape. Since the program’s inception in 2012,
over 700,000 students have been impacted - and
we hope these numbers continue to grow!
