The purpose of the Texas Big Game Awards is to promote awareness about wildlife management and the role that hunting plays in habitat conservation, and to foster cooperation among the stakeholders who ensure that our state’s wildlife habitat is conserved forever. The Texas Big Game Awards annually recognizes over 1,500 hunters, 500 landowners, and over 500 youth and first-time hunters.
